Day 1 Beijing Arrival

Welcome to the capital of China – Beijing! Upon arrival, met by tour guide and transferred to you hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2 Beijing

Sightseeing and Activities: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Jingshan Park, Back Lakes, Hutong Tour by rickshaw

Tiananmen Square in Beijing

Breakfast at hotel, then start today’s tour with Tiananmen Square. Go north through the square and you will reach the Forbidden City. As the largest and best-preserved ancient wooden structure in the world, it has more than 8,000 pavilions and thousands of historic treasures. Then hike to Jingshan Park to have a bird view of the Forbidden City.

In the afternoon, go to Back Lakes to experience the local culture and charm. Later take a rickshaw to visit Beijing hutong alleys, narrow but original.

Day 3 Beijing

Sightseeing and Activities: Temple of Heaven, Mutianyu Great Wall

In the morning, head to visit the royal altar of the Ming and Qing dynasties – the Temple of Heaven.

Then move on to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. Great Wall is one of the greatest architecture projects in human history.

Day 4 Beijing – Xian

Visit the Summer Palace in the morning, which used to be the summer resort for royal families and emperors.

In the afternoon, take 5 hours train to Xian and a local tour guide will pick you up at train station and transfer to your hotel.

Day 5 Xian

Sightseeing and Activities: Terracotta Warriors, Tang Bo Art Museum, Bell Tower, Muslim Quarter, ang Dynasty Show(optional)

Terracotta Army, Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Xian

Today visit the world famous Terracotta Warriors. The Terracotta Army is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China.

After that, visit Tang Bo Art Museum and Bell Tower. Founded in 2000, Tang Bo Art Museum possesses a collection of Shaanxi folk arts and representative ancient paintings exhibited in historical sequence. Bell Tower of Xi’an is a symbol of the Xi’an city and one of the grandest of its kind in China which was built during the early Ming Dynasty.

The last stop is Muslim Quarter, the hub of the Muslim community in Xian City. At night, enjoy the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show(optional).

Day 6 Xian – Chengdu

Sightseeing and Activities: Ancient City Wall, Wild Goose Pagoda and north square, Hanyang Tomb

Today visit the City Wall. Visitors can rent a bicycle and take a ride on the wall. Then move on to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and enjoy the North plaza fountain show.

In the afternoon, head to visit Hanyang Tomb, the mausoleum of Emperor Jing, the fourth emperor of the Western Han Dynasty and his Empress Wang. After the visit, transferred to airport to take your flight to Chengdu. A local tour guide will pick you up at airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 7 Chengdu

Sightseeing and Activities: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Renmin Park, Jinli Old Street

Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding

In the morning, drive to Chengdu Panda Base in the suburb, where you can take a close look at the lovely pandas of different ages eating bamboos, playing with each other, tumbling, climbing trees, etc.

Then go to visit the busiest local park in Chengdu – Renmin Park which is featured in rich folk activities and leisure living style. Continue the tour to Jinli old Street, one of the oldest streets full of delicious local snacks, delicate artifacts, interesting folk shows, etc. The architectural style tells you what Sichuan looks like in the Qing dynasty.

Day 8 Chengdu – Guilin

Today we will drive about 2 hours to Leshan and visit Leshan Giant Buddha by walking up to the top of the hill. The grand Buddha was completed in 803 of Tang Dynasty after 90 year’s construction and enjoys the fame of the biggest sitting stone sculpture in the world, about 71- meter in height.

In the evening, take the flight to Guilin and the local tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 9 Guilin

Sightseeing and Activities: Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill, Golden and Silver Twin Pagodas, Fubo Hill, East West Street

First we will visit Reed Flute Cave. Also known as “the Palace of Natural Arts”, it is a natural limestone cave with multicolored lighting and has been one of Guilin’s most interesting attractions for over 1200 years. Then move on to Elephant Trunk Hill, which is the symbol of the city of Guilin, which got its name because it looks like an elephant drinking water. Later enjoy a short visit to the Golden and Silver Twin Pagodas.

In the afternoon, continue the tour to Fubo Hill. This is another wonderfully scenic spot in Guilin, which is about 2km from Elephant Trunk Hill. Fubo hill has both natural beauty and historic art. After that, enjoy a leisure walk from Prince City to East West Street.

Day 10 Guilin – Yangshuo

West Street in Yangshuo County, Guilin

Take a Li River cruise to Yangsuo. On the twisty Li River from Zhujiang to Yangshuo, it covers hundreds and thousands of grotesque peaks. You will have lunch on board. Then disembark at Yangsuo.

Explore the ancient town – Yangsuo. It has a history of over 1400 years. Walk around West Street to find a lot of unique shops selling traditional handcrafts, hand-made scarfs, snacks of local flavor, etc.

Then drive to Yulong River area and enjoy the picturesque scenery.

Day 11 Guilin – Hangzhou

Sightseeing and Activities: Yangshuo countryside, ten-mile Gallery

Enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of Yangshuo. On the way, we will stop over at a villager’s home to learn more about the local farmers’ life. Visit Yangshuo ten-mile Gallery. Also go to the famous Moon Hill and the Big Bayan Tree to enjoy the countryroad scenery(optional).

In the afternoon, drive to Guilin airport for your evening flight to Hangzhou. A local tour guide will pick you up at airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 12 Hangzhou

Sightseeing and Activities: West Lake, Meijiawu Tea Field

In the morning, your tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to visit West Lake, the most famous attraction in Hangzhou. Have a Lake cruise and you will gain the best view in the lake rounded by mountains on three sides.

In the afternoon, drive to visit Meijiawu Tea Culture Village to learn the tea culture.

Day 13 Hangzhou – Suzhou

Sightseeing and Activities: Lingyin Temple, Six Harmonies Pagoda, Hefang Street

In the morning, head to visit Lingyin Temple and Flying Peak. Lingyin Temple is one of the most famous Buddhist temples in Hangzhou, which was founded at the foot of Lingyin Mountrain in 326AD.

Then we will drive to visit Six Harmony Pagoda. It was originally constructed in 970 by the Wuyue Kingdom, destroyed in 1121, and reconstructed fully by 1165.

Later we will walk along the most well-known pedestrain street in Hangzhou – He Fang Street for a free shopping.

In the afternoon, take the high speed train to Suzhou. A local tour guide will pick you up at train station and transfer to your hotel.

Day 14 Suzhou – Shanghai

Sightseeing and Activities: Lingering Garden, Lion Grove Garden, Tongli Water Town

In the morning, visit Lingering Garden, one of the four most famous gardens in China, listed as World Culture Heritage by UNESCO. Then move on to Lion Grove Garden, which is famous for the large and labyrinthine grotto of taihu rocks at its center.

The last stop is the famous Tongli Water Town. It is characterized by stone bridges and well preserved ancient architecture, including private gardens, temples and houses.

After the tour, transferred to Shanghai and helped to check in the hotel.

Day 15 Shanghai

Sightseeing and Activities: Shanghai Old Street, Shikumen, the bund, Lujiazui CBD, Shanghai Tower

First we will explore the old Shanghai. Visit Shanghai Old Street and Shikumen. Then stroll on the famous Bund.

In the afternoon, head to discover the mordern Shanghai. Visit Lujiazui CBD – a new financial district of Shanghai and then transfer to Shanghai Tower – the tallest building of Shanghai.

Day 16 Shanghai Departure
