Tianxin Pavilion Park

Tianxin Pavilion Park is located in the southeast corner of Changsha central area, and the Tianxin Pavilion is one of the most well-preserved ancient city remains in Changsha city. Now the park is ranked as one of Changsha’s Four Great Ancient Historic Sites, China’s famous historic culture pavilion and national AAAA tourist attraction.

Tianxin Pavilion

Tianxin Pavilion is an ancient Chinese pavilion located on the ancient city wall of Changsha, Hunan, China. The pavilion was first established in the 14th century. Tianxin Pavilion is composed of three pavilions, the three–stories main pavilion and the two–stories auxiliary pavilions. The two sides are connected with a long corridor. Alongside the Yueyang Tower, Pavilion of Prince Teng, Yellow Crane Tower, Stork Tower, Penglai Pavilion, Daguan Pavilion, Yuejiang Tower, Xi’an Bell and Drum Tower and Tianyi Pavilion, it is one of the “Ten Famous Chinese Historical and Cultural Towers and Pavilions”. Standing at the Tianxin Pavilion, tourists can have a panoramic view of whole city; and strolling in the park, tourist can find citizens do morning exercises, such as performing a sword dance, doing yangge dance of playing taijiquan.

Main Attractions of Tianxin Pavilion Park

The Tianxin Pavilion Park was built in 1924 and the present area covers an area of 30,000 square meters. Its main scenic spots are classical and elegant.

The processors of Zhonglie Pavilion were Wupao and National Humiliation Commemoration Pavilion. The inscribed board of the pavilion was written by Mr. Jiang Jieshi.

Zhonglie Gate was originally donated by Jiang Jieshi, Chen Cheng and Zhang Zhizhong for commemorating martyr laying down in “Jinan Tragedy” and Changsha Three Great Battles during the anti-Japanese period.
