10 Days Jiangxi and Hunan Villages and Wonders Tour

Take bullet train from Guangzhou South Railway Station ( Train No. G636 from 09:12 am) to Yingtan North Train Station.Arrive in Yingtan North Railway Station at 14:25pm. Meet local tour guide and then transfer to take train No. K784 from Yingtan to Jingdezhen ( 16:10/18:36). Arrive in Jingdezhen, transfer to Wuyuan, check in Hotel .

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to visit the Moon Bay (月亮湾，you will continue the countryside tour by visit Likeng Ancient Village, Likang is famous for the harmony of little bridge, flowing brook and its cottages. The village is embraced by mountains and enjoys splendid scenery. Jiangwan Ancient Village, Jiangling Ancient Village for appreciating the picturesque landscapes there. 

After breakfast at hotel,  transfer to visit Continue to drive to Wuyuan, the most beautiful countryside in China for a trip to Rainbow Bridge – the most beautiful covered bridge in the country. and Yantian Customs Park, and Sixi Ancient Village – surrounded by the hills on one side and water on the other. Tonight you will stay in Wuyuan for experiencing the countryside life.

After breakfast, transfer to Jingdezhen Train Station to take train K45 to Yingtan ( K45 10:25/12；33）.Take train from Yingtan North Railway Station to Huaihua ( Train No. G1681 14:03/18:01).Upon arrival in Huaihua South Railway Station, meet local guide and transfer to Qianyang Ancient Town.Check in Hotel 

After breakfast at hotel, visit Qianyang Ancient Town including Furong Tower. Qianyang Town was first built in 202 BC,West Han Dynasty.There are 5 gates, 10 streets and 12 alleys in Qianyang Ancient Town.The curve made by the Wu river embraces the old town of Qianyang which according to local history, was founded more than 2000 years ago. Beyond the five gates, the slab stone streets and alleys of Qianyang are lined with more than twenty ancestral and lineage halls, over ten courtyard residences of ancient local officials, a dozen of Taoist and Buddhist temples, as well as centuries-old residential housing and store fronts.Some of these ancient temple have been recently renovated, others are crumbling.Furong Tower,well known as “Lotus Tower”, “Hibiscus Tower”,is a classical garden architectural group located in the northwest of Qiancheng, an age-old and rustic town of Hongjiang City.After visiting, transfer to Huaihua Bus Station ( 60 minutes drive) and take bus from Huaihua to Fenghuang Ancient Town ( 90 minutes drive) . Upon arrival in Fenghuang, check in hotel and see the night view of Tuojiang River.

Day 6: Fenghuang-Zhangjiajie 

After breakfast visit Fenghuang Ancient Town in the morning. The old town of Fenghuang (Phoenix), in the west of South China’s Hunan Province, is a historical and cultural old town. Rewi Alley, a famous Australian writer, once described it as one of the most beautiful cities in China.The town maintains this traditional as part of its rich culture. Dragon boat racing in Fenghuang appeared in famous Chinese writer Shen Congwen’s Border Town to express the pride and wild nature amongst the unsophisticated common people.In Fenghuang you can go boating on the Tuo River, wander through the old streets, enjoy a wonderful trip to a Miao house, appreciate Miao dancing, and taste the delicious food of western Hunan Province.After lunch take bus from Fenghuang North Bus Station to Zhangjiajie ( 4 hours drive). Upon arrival in Zhangjiajie,check in hotel in Zhangjiajie City.

After breakfast, visit Tianmen Mt.  Tianmen Mountain is famous for Tianmen Cave.With an elevation of  1,518 meters,Tianmen Mountain is not only one of the most representative natural sceneries ,but also ” the Soul of  Zhangjiajie “. Today you will take cable car up to Tianmen Mt, walk along the Plank Road and the Glass Skywalk, take lift inside the mountain to Tianmen Cave, see the six wonders of the mountain. Take shuttle bus down the mountain. 

After breakfast, take Bailong Elevator up to Yuanjiajie, visit Back Garden, Avatar Mt, the first Natural Bridge in the world, etc. After lunch, take shuttle bus to Tianzi Mountain, visit He Long Park and stone forest in the West Sea. After visiting, take cable car down and take bus to Cili County. Upon arrival, check in hotel .

After breakfast, transfer to Laopeng Village at the 48-Stockade Scenic Area.  Visit the rape flowers and the Chinese traditional Paper-making in Laopeng Village. See the Yang Family Old House, and Shuangyun Village, Sanwang Village which are located in east of Cili County. After visiting transfer back to Cili City,check in Hotel.
