Mammoth Park
In the far northwest of the Autonomous Region close to the Russian border, among the great Hulun Buir Prairie lies the city of Hulun Buir, home to the modern Mammoth Park. Among the attractions are large mammoth statues, a giant Ferris wheel, roller coasters as well as large scale replicas of famous Russian buildings.
Why is Mammoth Park So Special
Mammoth Park is a national 4A-level tourist attraction with the theme of Zalainol culture. The scenic spot has the world “large mammoth sculpture group” and its paleontological sculpture group has been included in the Guinness World. There are also Russian style buildings, the first generation of railway station overpasses, more than a dozen steam locomotives. Mammoth Park is a theme park which integrates leisure, recreation and tourism, and focuses on the promotion of Zaranol “Mammoth Hometown” culture. From April 1980 to spring 1984, three mammoth paleontological fossils were unearthed in the open pit mine of Zalai Nor area. One of them, unearthed in July 1980, is the largest one among the fossil specimens of mammoth till now in China, which is rare in history. Zalai Nor was named as the “hometown of mammoth”. Where is Mammoth Park Location
Mammoth Park Scenic Spot is located in Zalainol New Area, Hulunbeir City, Inner Mongolia, 7 kilometers north of Zalainol 301 National Road to Manzhouli. It is adjacent to Manzhouli, the largest land crossing in China, and is about 20 kilometers away from Dalai Lake, Guomen, Taowa Square and other scenic spots. The Park covers an area of 1 million square meters.

Mammoth Park is located in Zaranol District of Manchuria, more than 20 kilometers away from the city. It is very convenient to drive. There are no tickets in the park. Although the theme is mammoth, it is mainly a paradise for children. There are many playgrounds in the park.
