Day 1 Beijing City Tour:

Sightseeing and Activities: Jiankou Great Wall; Mutianyu Great Wall; Olympic Green;

Your tour guide will pick you up at the hotel in the morning (7:00 am in summer and autumn; 8:00 am in spring and winter, if you would like to watch the sunset on the great wall, the departure time will be delayed accordingly), it takes about 2.5 hours to the Jiankou Great Wall.

We start the hike from Xizhaizi village, we will experience the best unrestored wild Great Wall. Firstly, your guide takes you to Zhengbeilou Tower (the highest tower on Jiankou Great Wall) which takes about 1 hour by walking through the mountain path. Later, we will take a ladder up to Zhengbeilou Tower, which features some amazing ruins and scenes of rustic beauty. Midway through the hike to Mutianyu Great Wall, we will cross the mountain. we will pass about 17 towers (about 8 towers on Jiankou section and about 9 towers on Mutianyu section) with about 3 hours for the whole hiking on the Great Wall. So you could enjoy the beauty of both section of the wall – natural and well-preserved wall. Finally, you have 3 choices to come down: 1.Cable car 2.Walk way 3.Tabbogan.

Hike level is about 4.

The whole hiking tour takes about 4 hours and 10 km (6 mils).

Lunch will be arranged at Xinshuangquan Restaurant.

After lunch, we will return to downtown Beijing and drop at the Olympic Park to take some picture from outside of the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. The bird nest stadium hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Summer Olympics, and it’s the stadium for football competitions. Water Cube, or the Beijing National Aquatics Center, it’s the main stadium for all indoor aquatics competitions in the 2008 Olympics.

Back to hotel around 6:00 PM.

Day 2 Beijing City Tour:

Sightseeing and Activities: Temple of Heaven; Tiananmen Square; Forbidden City; Summer Palace;
Accommodation:
Meals: Lunch

After breakfast, we will first visit the Temple of Heaven (2 hours sightseeing), which was the place where the Emperor pray for a good harvest. Three blue-tiled cone-shaped roofs of it, already become a worldwide symbol of Beijing.

Later, we will visit Tiananmen Square (40 minutes sightseeing), which is the biggest public square in the world that can hold more than million people.

And we will cross over the Golden River Bridge to visit the Forbidden City (2 hours sightseeing) and experience the ancient royal’s life here.

Lunch will be arranged at one of quality Chinese restaurants.

After lunch, we will continue to visit the Summer Palace (2 hours sightseeing), originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of the Qing Dynasty.

Back to hotel around 6:00 PM

Day 3 Beijing City Tour:

Sightseeing and Activities: Lama Temple; Confucius Temple; Guozijian (Imperial College); Rongbu Tang; Drum Tower; Yanda Xiejie;

We will depart the hotel around 8:00 and visit Lama Temple also called the Yonghe Lamasery, or Yonghegong. It is the most impressive Buddhist temple in the city and best-preserved Lamasery in Beijing.

Then we will walk along Chenxian Street, and walk through one of the most important humanist centers in ancient China the Confucius Temple and Guozijian (Imperial College). Later we will visit “Rongbu Tang” which a boutique store that inherits a century old craftsmanship on the street.

Lunch at Shichahai Area. We will have a home made lunch in a traditional local family.

After lunch, continue to visit the Drum Tower, and having bird’s view of the surrounding communities of hutongs and siheyuan (an existing traditional courtyards in Beijing) on the tower.

Then stroll along the Yanda Xiejie (a quaint 800-year-old hutong), and across the Silver Ingot Bridge (Yinding Bridge) to take a rickshaw. At end, we will visit an old courtyard and begin the one hour visit inside, and your guide will show you the history, layout, Fengshui, and traditional Chinese culture of the old courtyard ( Siheyuan ).

We will return to the hotel after we finished courtyard.

Day 4 Beijing City Tour:

Sightseeing and Activities: Stone Forest Gorge; Flying Dragon Valley; Bolitai Great Wall;
Accommodation:
Meals: Lunch

We will leave the hotel around 8:00am, drive along Jingping Expressway to visit the Stone Forest Gorge. The stone forest valley is the location of the world’s largest glass sightseeing platform. It is 11 meters longer than the Grand Canyon Skywalk inside the Grand Canyon National Park in the United States.

Then we will head to the Diaowo Village. And enjoying organic and healthy lunch at a local family.

After lunch, we will drive along a deep valley called Flying Dragon Valley. And appreciate beautiful views and mysterious caves on the way to the Bolitai village.

Bolitai village is a village around the Bolitai Great Wall. This section of the great wall is made of rocks and stone, not bricks made in kilns. Before us back to the hotel, we will hike about a half hour on the wall.

Back to the hotel around 6:00 PM.
