Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Guilin Arrival

Upon your arrival, tour guide will pick you up from airport and then transfer you to your hotel. Feel free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2 Guilin – Longsheng – Sanjiang

Sightseeing and Activities: Longji Rice Terraces

Longsheng Longji Rice Terraces in Guilin

In the morning, the driver will pick you up from your hotel in Guilin and then head to Longji Rice Terraces after all the clients picked up. We will driver about 1.5 hours for 80km. On the road, we will go up and down the mountains. You can appreciate the ranges of hills and beautiful scenery.

Then we will arrive at the entrance at the Pingan Zhuang village first. And then we need to walk about 40 minutes up. You will find tier upon tier fields surrouding the village. It is really majesty sightseeing. Then we will have lunch in a restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will visit the villages of Yao people and Zhuang people to experience the ethnic cultures and lifestyle. Then continue the trip to Sanjiang and check in the hotel.

Day 3 Sanjiang – Guilin

Sightseeing and Activities: Dong Village, Drum Tower, Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge

After breakfast, head to visit the Dong Village in Sanjiang. Sanjiang is known for diverse minority cultures. Visit the Drum Tower and the Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge. After the visit, drive back to Guilin for overnight.

Day 4 Guilin – Yangshuo

West Street in Yangshuo County, Guilin

After breakfast, we will take Li River cruise to Yangsuo for about 4 hours. On the twisty Li River from Zhujiang to Yangshuo, it covers hundreds and thousands of grotesque peaks. Breathe the fresh air, feel the gentle breeze and enjoy the spectacular landscapes here. Have lunch on board.

In the afternoon, disembark at the old town Yangshuo. Then explore the ancient town – Yangsuo. It has a history of over 1400 years. Walk around West Street to find a lot of unique shops selling traditional handcrafts, hand-made scarfs, snacks of local flavor etc.

Then we will transfer you along the country road to enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of Yangshuo. On the way, we will stop over at a villager’s home to learn more about the local farmers’ life.

Day 5 Yangshuo

Sightseeing and Activities: Moon Hill, Big Bayan Tree
Accommodation: Yangsuo
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

A full day for Yangsuo exploration. You could go to the famous Moon Hill and the Big Bayan Tree to enjoy the countryroad scenery. At night,  stroll along the West Street again.

Day 6 Yangsuo – Guilin

Sightseeing and Activities: Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill, Fubo Hill

After back to Yangsuo, we will visit the highlights of Guilin. First we will head to the Reed Flute Cave. Also known as “the Palace of Natural Arts”, it is a natural limestone cave with multicolored lighting and has been one of Guilin’s most interesting attractions for over 1200 years. Then visit Elephant Trunk Hill. It is the symbol of the city of Guilin, which got its name because it looks like an elephant drinking water. Afterwards we will stop at Fubo Hill. This is another wonderfully scenic spot in Guilin, which is about 2km from Elephant Trunk Hill. Fubo hill has both natural beauty and historic art.

After all the visit, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight. Service ends.
