Steeps Waterfalls in Anshun

The Anshun Steeps Waterfalls is the widest in the top among all the waterfalls in the park. The top of the waterfall is the widest among all of the Huangguoshu waterfalls.There is another special phenomenon in the scenic spot, that is, the waterfall will produce a rumbling noise every year before the flood comes, hence the name “roaring waterfall”.

Anshun Steeps Waterfalls

The Anshun Steeps Waterfalls Scenic Area lies one kilometer from the upper reaches of the Huangguoshu Waterfall, which houses a 105-meter-wide and 21-meter-high waterfall. It is the widest in the top among all the waterfalls in the park. The top of the waterfall is the widest among all of the Huangguoshu waterfalls. At the top of Doupotang Waterfall is a 15,000-square-meter and the waterfall is formed on the calcified bay that is over 100 meters long.

  • You can take a one-day tour bus at Guiyang tourist passenger center station and drive along Guiyang Huanghua expressway for 2 hours. It’s 60 yuan.
  •  You can also take a bus to Anshun at the long-distance station of the gymnasium. Yutong large air-conditioned bus costs 15 yuan. After arriving at Anshun, take the bus to Huangguoshu at the place where you get off.

Admission Ticket

No need for tickets. The ticket is included in the ticket of Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area,
180 yuan in summer (March 1 to November 30); In winter (December 1 to the end of February of the next year), 160 yuan.

Peak season: Steeps Waterfalls: 7:00-18:00

Opening Time of Sightseeing Bus

Off season: 7:30-18:00;peak season: 7:00-19:00. The route of the sightseeing bus in the scenic spot is between the ticket hall of the new town, Anshun Steeps Waterfalls scenic spot, Tianxingqiao scenic spot and Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic spot. The whole journey is about 27 kilometers, and the ticket price is 50 yuan. You only need to buy one ticket.
