Why is Monument on the Gedeng Mountain So Special?
In 1760, for marking the troops of the Qing Dynasty putting down the rebellion headed by Dawaqi, head of the Jungar tribe, on the Gedeng Mountain, the emperor Qianlong ordered to erect the Gedeng Mountain Monument for Putting down the Jun gar Tribe and wrote personally the inscriptions.
