For Independent travelers you can take High-speed rail first, and then take buses or taxis.

Take Metro Line 2 to Xipu Station, and transfer the train to Dujiangyan, about half hour. There is a bus station on the right side of the Dujiangyan high speed rail station.

Take bus at Dujiangyan high speed rail station to Dujiangyan scenic area,2 RMB/person.

Take minibus (from Dujiangyan to Qingcheng Mountain) at Dujiangyan Dujiangyan scenic area bus station, and get off at Dujiangyan Panda Valley, 5 RMB/person.

Take a taxi at Dujiangyan high speed rail station to Panda Velley, about 25 RMB.

Dujiangyan Panda Valley is a giant panda breeding and field research base, covering an area of 1.4 square kilometers .It can accommodate giant pandas, about 30 to 40, and red pandas about 50 to 100, and other wild animals.

Facilities

The giant panda breeding and field research base has been well prepared in animal building construction, indoor and outdoor facilities, environment enrichment, feeding and staff. The gate of the giant panda breeding and field research base is made of metal mixed materials, 11 meters in hight. In half wild ecological transition experiment area, the giant panda will temporarily live in a building in the shape of a fort, and gradually adapt to the wild life in the future.

Landform

The scenic area was built in the pattern of a Adidas logo, and the whole area is divided into 3 lines. On the right side, is a small stream flowing down from the top of the mountain ; in the middle part is an road; and on the left side is a residential area.
