- Initial Construction: The mosque was initially built in the mid-1980s. Due to financial and technical limitations, the original mosque covered less than 300 square meters, including a simple wooden prayer hall that could only accommodate about 100 people. Over time, the building deteriorated due to weathering and lack of maintenance, leading to safety concerns and inadequate space for the expanding community.

- Start Date: April 5, 2008.
- Contractors: Qinghai Muslim Architectural Company, with supervision by Qinghai Chengyuan Engineering Supervision Company and design by Gansu Lianzhong Design Institute and China Design Institute Northwest Company.
- Scale: The newly rebuilt mosque has a total area of 6,500 square meters:
- Main Prayer Hall: 4,500 square meters, designed to accommodate over 2,000 worshippers.
- Teaching Building: 2,000 square meters, includes facilities such as classrooms, dormitories, and an office.
- Design: Features a three-story structure with a central prayer hall, commercial spaces on the first floor, and prayer areas on the second and third floors. It also includes two 70-meter tall minarets and a golden dome, combining traditional Islamic and Chinese architectural styles.
