Each layer has larger space, magnificent appearance and majestic momentum. The second and third floors each have nine wooden poles, the roof has nine corners, the columns have 54 and the beams have 81, all of which are multiples of 9. Founded in 1609 in the 37th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty, it was rebuilt in 1669 in the 8th year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty. Yongzheng, Ganlong, Jiaqing and Daoguang were all repaired and expanded. The pavilion is a nine-corner, three-story pagoda-shaped building with side halls on both sides. The front is a vegetarian house connecting the side halls. The plane layout is quadrangle-shaped. The main building is about 20 meters high, 11.47 meters wide and 11.58 meters deep. It is a three-story pyramidal roof with three eaves and nine corners with unequal sides. Each layer has more arches, curved buckets, and low warpage. The window grilles and fang boards are painted. Its architectural style has quite local characteristics. Originally dedicated to Wenchang Emperor, it is now a cultural relic protection unit in Guiyang.
