Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Macau World Heritage Excursion

  • Morning:
    • Departure: Transfer to the Macau Ferry Terminal for your ferry ride to Macau.
    • Arrival: Clear immigration and start your sightseeing tour.
  • Sightseeing:
    • Ruins of St. Paul’s (World Heritage): Visit the iconic facade of the church, a symbol of Macau’s rich history.
    • A-Ma Temple (World Heritage): Explore one of the oldest and most revered temples dedicated to the Goddess of Seafarers, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
  • Midday:
    • Mount Fortress (World Heritage): Discover the principal military defense structure built by the Jesuits, offering stunning views of the city.
  • Afternoon:
    • Macau Tower: Enjoy panoramic views of the Pearl River Delta (admission not included).
    • Casino Visit: Experience the vibrant atmosphere of the Cotai Strip and try your luck at one of the famous casinos if you’re over 21.
  • Evening:
    • Return: After a day filled with exploration, board the ferry back to Hong Kong.

Transfer to the Macau Ferry Terminal for departure to Macau by ferry. Upon arrival and immigration clearance our sightseeing begins with a few World Heritage sites. Highlights include:
The Ruins of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church (World Heritage): Built in 1602 when this church was an imposing wooden structure, it was brilliantly decorated and furnished but the structure was destroyed by fire in 1835. All the remains of the greatest of Macau’s churches are its magnificent stone fa’e7ade and grand staircase. Miraculously, the fine art carvings and statues can still be seen on the surviving fa’e7ade.

A-Ma Temple (World Heritage): The temple is one of the three oldest temple and most famous temples in Macau. Built in 1488, the temple is dedicated to the Goddess of seafarers and fishermen Matsu. The temple is one of the heritage sites of Macau being inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2005.

Mount Fortress (World Heritage):The fortress was Macau’s principal military defense structure which was built in conjunction with the Jesuits form 1617 to 1626. The fortress covers an area of 10,000 square metres and in the shape of a trapezoid. It has become a World Heritage Site in 2005.

Macau Tower: This structure was designed by Gordon Moller- an architect from New Zealand It is 338 metres high and ranked11th highest in the world. Here you will be able to enjoy a spectacular view of the surrounding Pearl River Delta (Admission by own expense)

Casino Visit: Macau has become known worldwide as “Las Vegas of the East”. If you are over 21years you can try your luck if you fancy during a brief visit to one of the many famous casinos at the famous Cotai Strip.
