Hangzhou Grand Canal and Qiantang River Night Cruise Tour

The Grand Canal has been a great project since ancient times and is now a symbol of hangzhou. Experience a thousand years of recorded history on the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. Every summer, you can enjoy the ancient buildings on both sides of the river and experience the heritage of the grand canal for thousands of years. There are large, medium and small boats setting off from Wulin gate to Gongchen bridge. It will take about an hour without any stop. It starts at 19:30 daily at Wulin gate per hour.

Along the way, you can see Emperor Qianlong, Imperial Dock, the imperial granary, Qianlong Fang, the new Xiang Ji Temple, Jiangnan bridge and Gong Chenqiao. Xiang Ji temple is open from 17:00-21:00 every day. After visiting the temple, you can walk to Shengli He Food Street to sample some classic Hangzhou cuisine or stroll at Xizhi street and Dadou Lu pedestrian.

Qiantang River Cruise

Qiantang River, also called Chien-tang River or Qiantg Jiang in Chinese, is the largest river of Zhengjiang Province. Qiantang River watercourse in Hangzhou is in zigzag shape, so it is also named as “Zhe Jiang”, “Zhi Jiang” and “Qu Jiang” by locals. The Qiantang River cruise is also a great night cruise to take. The whole trip takes about two hours and the best view is where the Qiantang meets the Grand Canal.

The Qiantang River Night Tour operates from 18:30 from Wulinmen Wharf and heads towards the south. Gliding along the Qiantang River, you can appreciate the spectacular Qiantang River scenes in the shallow light of the moon and lanterns.

Wulinmen Wharf –Sanbao Shiplock –Qianjiang New City –between the Qianjiang Third Bridge and the Qianjiang Fourth Bridge –Wulinmnen Wharf

Note:

We’ll pick you up from your hotel at around 06:30 pm and transfer you to the Wuling Meng Square dock. The whole trip on the canal is three and half hour across the Grand Canal and the Qiantang river. Service ends after back to the Wulin Men Square dock.
