Being a very small town on the junction of Gansu and Sichuan Province, Langmusi has two monasteries located on the border of each of the two provinces, which is renowned as “Small Tibet” due to its influential Tibetan Buddshim existence. Labrang Monastery, one of the six great monasteries of the Geluk school of Tibetan Buddhism, is the most important monastery town of Tibetan Buddhism outside the Tibetan Autonomous Region.

Day 1 Lanzhou Arrival
Sightseeing and Activities:

Meals:
Upon your arrival, tour guide will pick you up from airport or train station and then transfer to your hotel in Lanzhou city. Free and easy time for you to explore this city.
Day 2 Lanzhou – Langmusi
Sightseeing and Activities: Kirti Monastery
Accommodation: Langmusi
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
In the morning, we will drive a long way to Langmusi. It is about 400km. There are two sections: Lanzhou Xiahe Road Trip and Xiahe Langmusi Trip. We will gradually goes from the loess plateau slowly to Tibet-Qinghai Plateau. Enjoy the scenery along the road.
In the afternoon, we will arrive at Langmusi. Then visit Kirti Monastery on the southern hill of Sichuan side. Stay overnight at Langmusi.
Day 3 Langmusi – Xiahe
Sightseeing and Activities: Sertri Gompa
Accommodation: Xiahe
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
After breakfast, we will visit another temple on the northern hill of Gansu side – Sertri Gompa. Then we will drive back to Xiahe and stay overnight here.
Day 4 Xiahe – Labrang Monastery – Lanzhou
Sightseeing and Activities: Labrang Monastery, Sangke Prairie
Accommodation: Lanzhou
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Today we will visit Labrang Monastery. It is one of the six great monasteries of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism, which has become known to visitors as the film’s shooting place of “World Without Thieves”.
Then drive to visit the Sangke Prairie which is famous for its excellent pasture and frequent magnificent Buddhist ceremonies.
After that, we will drive back to Lanzhou and check in the hotel for rest.
Day 5 Lanzhou Departure
Sightseeing and Activities: Waterwheel Garden

In the morning, visit the Waterwheel Garden on the southern bank of the Yellow River in Lanzhou.
Then transfer you to Lanzhou airport or train station for your next destination.
