Binhai Lake Golf Club is located within the Binhai Lake Eco-Tourism Resort (滨海湖生态旅游度假区), which opened on August 29, 2009. Designed by Pete Dye (皮特·戴), the course features 36 holes spread across a total land area of 2,266 acres. The 18-hole course spans 1,058 acres and plays a total of 7,666 yards.

The course includes deep, large pot bunkers, abundant use of railroad ties, and long tees, showcasing the famous “Dye-style” design. The tees are spacious and slightly elevated above the fairways, providing a broad view of the surrounding landscape. The greens are large and undulating, adding an extra challenge to golfers’ putting skills.

Clubhouse Facilities

The clubhouse spans approximately 3,700 square meters, offering a complete range of amenities, including a restaurant, coffee shop, VIP lounge, changing rooms, sauna, bag storage room, and a golf pro shop. The high grass areas of the course commonly feature Zoysia grass (结缕草), while the fairways are known for their exceptional quality.

Surrounded by the Huanggang Reservoir (黄港水库), which covers nearly 8,000 acres of water, the area has been designated by the Tianjin government as an important ecological preservation zone. The region boasts unique ecological landscapes and expansive green spaces formed by various types of vegetation.

On the top floor of the clubhouse, there is a golden pagoda known as the “Golden Peak” (金顶), which serves as the best landmark for identifying the direction of the clubhouse from the course.
