Sanya Yalong Bay Red Gorge Golf Club

Sanya Yalong Bay Red Gorge Golf Club(三亚亚龙湾红峡谷高尔夫俱乐部), opened on October 1, 2004, is located in Hongxialing (红霞岭） in Yalong Bay National Tourist Resort of Sanya city, the southernmost part of China. It covers an area of 1,500 mu (approximately equal to 100000 square meters) and is built near the mountain. It is an international golf course with eighteen holes and a landscape of mountain sea and desert.

Style

The golf club was another excellent product invested by Hong Kong Donguxn (international) Development Co. Ltd.(香港东迅(国际)发展有限公司) after Guangzhou Lianhua Mountain Golf Club(广州莲花山高尔夫球会), and was designed by JMP, a famous golf course design company in the world. Its shape was designed by the sculptor from JMP and its house was designed by KYGY, a Thai design company. The club, with a large scale, was awarded jointly as “one of the five most popular golf courses in Hannan” by VIP members from China Mingshi Travel Net(中国名仕旅行网) and Sanya Noble Yachat Club(三亚贵族游艇俱乐部).

Facilities

The course has 18 holes and 73 pars, with a total fairway length of 7,875 ma (approximately equal to 7,199 meters) and has the only six-pole hole in China with a total length of 828 ma (approximately equal to 757 meters). All these facilities can be a challenge. You can enjoy the game of birdies and eagles. There is the largest Green with an area of 1,100 square meters, the longest tee with an area of 160 meters. Seven tees can see the whole Yalong Bay; five fairways can see desert landscape; the No.4, No.5 and No.6 holes are located in canyon, surrounded by the entire lake. The course is surrounded by a large number of subtropical rare trees and flowers.
