A vast sea of lush trees and chains of magnificent mountains form a rounded ecosystem with over 30 tree species. The scenic area is composed of Jingyuetan National Key Scenic Spot, Jingyuetan National Park and Jingyuetan Tourist and Vacation Area.

Where is Jingyuetan National Forest Park?

Changchun Jingyuetan National Forest Park is in the southeastern part of the city of Changchun, Jilin province, just 18 kilometers from the downtown area. The park lies about 23 km from Changchun Railway Station, and the address of the park is No. 5840 Jingyue Street, Jingyue Development Zone, Changchun, Jilin Province.

Main Attractions in Jingyuetan National Forest Park

Jingyue Goddess Square

Goddess square is the main venue for all kinds of activities in the scenic area. The statue of Jingyue goddess (goddess of the moon) stands in the center of the fountain square. The height of the statue is 8.2 meters, the diameter of the moon is 6 meters, and the height of the base is 2.28 meters. It looks like a goddess lying on the side of the moon.

Bisong Jingyue Tower

Bisong Jingyue tower is the landmark of Jingyue lake. The tower is located on Guantan mountain, its height is 50.2 meters. From a distance, the tower stands in the vast forest, like a green guard, defending the pure land of Jingyuetan. The architecture is made up of the pagoda and the bell tower. It was completed on July 8th, 2000, the 200th anniversary of Changchun City. 

North Putuo Temple

North Putuo Temple is one of the famous temples in Northeast China. It was founded in 1996 and held its opening ceremony on June 22, 1997. Although the temple is new, it is well-known, and there are a large number of tourists and pilgrims coming there at every Buddhist festival.

Forest Walk

Jingyuetan Forest Walk road starts from Guantan Bridge and ends at Jingyue Wetland, with a total length of 14 kilometers. The air quality here is much higher than that in the city. Sometimes through the forest, sometimes over the water surface,  Jingyuetan forest walk adheres to the principle of not damaging any tree, and provides convenience for tourists and citizens.

Jingyuetan Ski Resort

Changchun Jingyuetan ski resort is one of the large-scale tourist ski resorts in Northeast China, which is known as the “tourist ski resort in the city”. Jingyuetan ski resort is located in the transition zone from the mountains in the northeast of Jilin Province to the grassland in the West. It is located in the hills between 200-400m above sea level. There are five ski trails, including primary, intermediate, advanced and cross-country ski trails.

Jingyue Snow World

Jingyue Snow World, dominated by snow and guided by beauty, has become a beautiful scenic spot for snow tourism. There are more than 200 snow sculptures. On the basis of European customs, Jingyue Snow World creatively adds Chinese elements, expands the interactive links of tourists, enriches the product content, and strives to build a snow fairy tale world, so that visitors can feel different winter in Jingyue lake.

Jingyue Golf course equipped with leisure villa and 2000 square meters of five-star luxury club. Total length of fairway is 7527 yards.

  1. Sightseeing Bus in the park: 10 yuan per person for a one way trip, the bus is available from 8:30 to 16:30.
  2. Free ticket for the people over 65 and kids under 6 years old, half price for student.
  3. Vasaloppet China is held in Jingyuetan Ski Resort every year.
