Guizhou Provincial Museum is a comprehensive provincial museum in China, located in at the No.107 Lincheng East Road, Guanshan Lake District, Guiyang City. It was built in 1953 and opened in 1958. It covers an area of 106.29 mu and a total construction area of 46,450 square meters.
More than 200,000 cultural relics and specimens are collected in Guizhou Provincial Museum. National cultural relics are one of the key collections of the museum such as embroidery, batik, floral, brocade, silver ornaments and so on. Besides, there are some typical collections such as Miao marriage chronicle wood, Miao engraved animal pattern wine horn, Miao blue satin lace female jacket with silver bell and silver pendant , Yi Tusi gossip dragon robe, handwritten copy of “six ancestors brief” in Yi language and Shui minority tomb stone carving “bronze drum”.

Historical Relics
Bronze chariots and horses, Standing tiger braided copper kettle, Shizhaishan bronze drum, Yangcan tomb copper drum, Copper handle iron sword, gilded copper sword, One-word grid sword, Ming Dynasty gold crown, Colored glazed pottery terracotta warriors and terracotta warriors.
National Relics
Shidong Miao women dress, Xijiang Miao women dress, Wooden ancestral drums, Shidong single wooden dragon boat, Drum Tibetan banners, Nuo masks, Opera masks, Embroidery, Batik, Silver ornaments, Bamboo and wood living utensils.
Specimens of the Historical Artifacts
Keichousaurus Hui Fossil, Sea Dragon Fossil, Ichthyosaurus Fossil, Crinoid Fossil and so on.
Special Activities
Since October 30,2018, Guizhou Provincial Museum has adopted a policy which the public can visit it for free. Besides, it is open on Saturday, Sunday and holiday, but closed on Monday. The exhibition hall carries on the display of the Guizhou intangible cultural heritage such as the national handicrafts. In addition, the Guizhou minority song and dance performance will regularly show in the exhibition area.
