Best Time to Visit

Xingyi has a pleasant climate, with the annual average temperature more than 10℃, but the best time to travel is February to April and July to August. From the late February to the early April, a wide range of rapeseed flowers in Xingyi are in bloom. Going to Xingyi in July and August, the waterfall will be more imposing, and summer rafting will be more interesting and more enjoyable.

Packing Tips

• Generally, during the best travel time, you can wear T-shirt in the summer time, but coats are needed due to the large temperature difference between morning and evening in spring. 
• Remember to bring sun cream and necessary rain gears(A raincoat will be better, since it is more convenient). 
• If you want to go rafting, be sure to bring changes of clothes.
• Many scenic spots in Xingyi have high mountains and precipitous paths, so you are supposed to wear sneakers or climbing shoes, which are convenient for walking. 

Tips for Rafting

• Before departure, it is best to bring a clean suit and a pair of plastic slippers for change. 
• If you wear glasses, it is recommended to tie them with a rubber band to prevent them from falling during the drifting.
• Items which are important or afraid of water(cameras, mobile phones, watches, etc.), please put them in car or hand over to the staff for storage in advance. Please do not carry them with you when rafting. When drifting, please try to sit and keep the balance, do not take off the lifejacket, do not grab the floating objects in the water as well as vegetations and stones on the shore, so as not to capsize or fall into the water.
