By the end of 2013, Chuxiong has 28 ethnic minorities including Yi, Hui, Bai and Miao.

4. Ethnic Culture

In their communication with Han People, the ethnic minorities gradually adopted the han language and absorbed the Chinese culture to enrich their own culture. The han culture is also influenced by the local natural environment and national culture, and has obvious local characteristics.
