Zhangyu Ruina Chateau is one of the urban agriculture projects implemented in the early phase of the Qinhan New City (秦汉新城), which is part of the Xixian New Area’s strategic development plan. The layout and function of the winery are highly aligned with the planning and requirements of the Xixian New Area. The winery features a significant-scale standardized vineyard, offering visitors a chance to enjoy natural, modern pastoral landscapes. It aims to enhance the ecological environment and improve the comprehensive benefits of agriculture, maximizing the integration and sustainable development of the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries.

The local government, including the Xianyang and Xi’an municipal authorities, has offered strong support for this project. As the first international professional winery in Shaanxi, the winery held its commissioning ceremony on October 9, 2013, with plans for an official opening in the first half of 2014.
