Xixi National Wetland Park, collecting city wetland, ecological wetland and cultural wetland together, is the first national wetland park in China. From Railway Station: There is no direct shuttle bus between three Hangzhou railway stations and Xixi National Wetland Park, so you need to transfer several times and have a short walk.
From West Lake: Taking Bus No. 118 or 130, you can get to the park from West Lake directly within one hour. Driving or calling a taxi can save you 40 mins.

Fu Causeway
Fu Causeway (福堤):Fu Causeway (Fu literally means “good fortune” in Chinese) stretches 2300 meter from south to north. Being an ecological and cultural causeway, it connects the main attractions together and links with 6 Fu Bridges.
Xixi Plum Villa
Xixi Plum Villa is a group of traditional farmhouses situated in the southwest part of Xixi National Wetland Park and near Autumn Snow Thatching. Plum blossom of Xixi has been well-known from ancient times. In South Song Dynasty, many literati always came here and had fun. A small wooden house in the manor has tea, coffee and other drinks for sale.
Yanshui Fish House
Yanshui Fish House (烟水渔庄) is located in the south of Yanshui Hut (烟水庵), close to Zhaotianmuyang (朝天暮漾). Buildings in it are mostly built in a double-story garden-style. Yanshui represents three scenes: willows, clouds, and chimney smoke. Sitting beside a pool of still water, the reflection of willows is in the water, the clouds are floating above in the sky, and smoke curls slowly from the chimney; it’s as if you were in a paradise. You can also go to the top of a three-story building called Yanshui Pavilion (烟水阁), viewing the panorama of Zhaotianmuyang. The fish house serves local delicacies and all kinds of tasty fish dishes in different flavors. Listen to gentle music, taste a delicious meal, drink a cup of tea, have a hearty talk with your families and friends, forget all your trifles and troubles; it is really a good gathering place for you to enjoy a relaxing moment. After dinner, go fishing or walk along the causeway if you like.
Useful Travel Tips
- Long-sleeved clothes are necessary to prevent mosquito bite. Because the tree branches are rather low in Xixi National Wetland Park any might scratch your umbrella, hat is more advisable to protect your from rain or strong sunlight.
- The park will stop selling ticket (for park admission and boat tickets) at one hour before the close time.
