Itinerary Details

D1

Airport pick-up according to flight schedule. The Northeast Errenzhuan (东北二人转) performance will be arranged based on timing; self-transportation is required, and no refund will be provided for schedule conflicts.
Northeast Errenzhuan (东北二人转): Also known as Xiao Yangge, Shuangwanyi, Bengbeng, etc., it was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2006.

Shenyang Imperial Palace (沈阳故宫): Also called Shengjing Imperial Palace, it was the imperial palace of the early Qing Dynasty, built in 1625. It is one of the two remaining royal palace complexes in China and the only royal complex in northeastern China.

Zhang Xueliang Former Residence Exhibition Hall (张学良旧居陈列馆): Covering 53,000㎡ with a construction area of 35,000㎡, it is the largest and best-preserved celebrity former residence in Northeast China, a national AAAA-level scenic spot, and a key national cultural relic protection unit.

Zhongjie Street (中街): Shenyang’s most famous historical and cultural commercial street, awarded as one of China’s first ten famous commercial streets and a national demonstration street for commercial, cultural, and tourism integration.
Yalu River Broken Bridge (鸭绿江断桥): The first bridge on the Yalu River, built in 1909, partially destroyed by the US military during the Korean War. The remaining 4 piers on the Chinese side stand as a historical witness; the Yalu River is the border river between China and North Korea, offering views of North Korean scenery.
Andong Old Street (安东老街): A century-old street recreating historical scenes with classic architecture, time-honored shops, local snacks, and folk art performances, named after historical streets from the Andong era.

Yanwo Railway Floating Bridge Ruins (燕窝铁路浮桥遗址): Located in Yancun (燕窝村), Dandong, with 20 wooden piers built in 1951 as a secret supply route for Chinese volunteers during the Korean War, now a provincial cultural relic protection unit.
Hekou Broken Bridge (河口断桥): Part of Hekou Scenic Area (中国十大最美乡村之一), where volunteers crossed the Yalu River during the Korean War. A cruise offers close views of North Korean border scenery, including guard posts and villages, with a distant view of the broken bridge where Marshal Peng Dehuai crossed.
Hekou Inland River Cruise (河口内河游船): Cruise along the border river to observe North Korean fortifications, barracks, and rural scenes.
Changbai Mountain Hot Spring Experience (长白山火山温泉体验): Sodium bicarbonate hot springs with temperatures over 60°C (up to 82°C), rich in trace elements beneficial for skin and health, especially for arthritis and cardiovascular health.

Changbai Mountain North Scenic Area (长白山北景区): Located in Erdaobaihe Town, featuring Tianchi (天池), waterfalls, hot springs, small Tianchi, underground forests, and more.
Changbai Mountain Tianchi (长白山天池): A volcanic lake on the China-North Korea border, 2,189.1m above sea level, 373m deep, known for its stunning alpine scenery.

Changbai Waterfall (长白飞瀑): A 68m waterfall at the north end of Tianchi, formed by the Chengcha River, a iconic sight of Changbai Mountain.
Julong Hot Spring Group (聚龙温泉群): The largest and hottest hot spring area in Changbai Mountain, with over 1,000㎡ of thermal springs.
Small Tianchi (小天池): Two scenic ponds near the waterfall, one emerald green and the other shallow yellow, known as the “Golden and Silver Cups Lake” (对杯湖), filming location for Snow Mountain Flying Fox.
Luyuantan (绿渊潭): A 碧绿潭 with a 26m waterfall, surrounded by mist and alpine forests, resembling a fairyland.
Changbai Mountain Korean Folk Village (长白山朝鲜族古村落): Experience Korean culture by visiting heritage museums, learning about kimchi and tteok (rice cake) traditions, interacting with stone guardian statues, and enjoying a song-and-dance dinner with local villagers.

Puppet Manchurian Palace Museum (伪满皇宫博物馆): Located in Changchun, occupying 250,500㎡, a museum built on the former palace of Pu Yi, the last emperor of China, witnessing Japan’s colonial rule in Northeast China, a national first-class museum and Warning commemorative sites

Zheyoushan Cultural Town (这有山): A hillside-themed commercial complex in Changchun, integrating dining, entertainment, shopping, and culture, with a 30m-tall structure winding to a mountain-top pavilion.
Jingyuetan National Forest Park (净月潭): A man-made reservoir built in 1934, now a 5A-level scenic area, known for its crescent shape (matching Taiwan’s Sun Moon Lake), offering forest trails and ecological beauty.

Notes

  4. Northeast China is drier than the south—stay hydrated and use moisturizer.
  5. Changbai Mountain has large temperature differences; bring a jacket.
  6. Wear loose, comfortable clothing, preferably light-colored, and bring long sleeves.
  7. Use a sunhat or umbrella for outdoor activities.
  8. Avoid hard leather shoes to prevent blisters.
  9. Drink plenty of water and bring cooling beverages to prevent heatstroke; avoid intense activities in direct sunlight.
  10. Follow guide instructions near water; no unauthorized swimming.

  12. Some rural areas may have simple conditions—please understand.
  13. Long drives are common; prepare snacks and water for the journey.
  14. Northeasterners are forthright and may speak loudly—no offense intended.

  16. Power banks under 20,000mAh are allowed on flights; use WeChat to rent shared power banks if needed.
