Day 1 Qingdao Arrival
Welcome to Qingdao, a famous seaside city with marvelous coastlines and great Tsingdao Beer. Upon your arrival, your guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel.
After a little break at hotel, you will visit the Tsingtao Brewery Museum,where you can watch the exhibition of the complete process of making the beer and taste the freshly brewed beer. Since Qingdao is famous for the Tsingtao Brewery, you will have a better understanding about the beer and the city after today’s visit.
(Qingdao International Beer Festival: It is held once a year on the second weekend of the August, and lasts for 16 days. You can enjoy the “Beer Carnival” games, beer tasting, drinking contests, music, food, and interactive performances.)
Day 2 Qingdao (B, L)
After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. Today, you will have a city exploration in Qingdao city. The first stop is to Zhanqiao Pier,a symbol of Qingdao city. It was built in 1891 as a naval pier, and now is a famous landmark in the Qingdao Bay.
Then followed a trip to Little Qingdao Isle, whose shape is like an ancient violin, is also called “Violin Isle”. Waterside pavilions, red reefs with blue waves, white tower with green trees and an arbor makes the island as the heaven created a beautiful picture.
Later, you will have a walk in the Badaguan Scenic Resort. It is a great place to embrace Qingdao which is well known for the old villas of different architecture styles. If you miss the Badaguan when visiting Qingdao, it means you haven’t fully seen Qingdao.
Last, you will have a walk along the coastline of Qingdao City to May Fourth Square and the 2008 Olympics Sailing Center.
Day 3 Qingdao – Qufu by High Speed Train (B)
In this morning, take the 3-hour G train from Qingdao to Qufu! Upon arrival, meet and transfer to have in depth exploration of Confucianism in the hometown of Confucius.
The highlight is to visit “San Kong”, the name given collectively to the three main sites of Confucius: the Confucian Temple, The Confucian Mansion and the Confucian Cemetery. You will get a full understanding about the life of Confucius, as well as the Confucian culture.
Stay overnight in Qufu.
Day 4 Qufu – Mount Tai (B)
In the morning, you will transfer to Mount Tai, the first mountain of the five most famous Mountains in China.
You will first visit the famous Dai Temple, the largest and most completed ancient building of Mount Tai, where ancient emperors always held sacrificial ceremonies.
After lunch, start to climb Mt. Taishan. Take the private car to the Halfway Gate to the Heaven. Then, you could have 1.5 hours’ hike to the top of the Mt. Taishan (if physical condition limits, you could take cable car to South Gate to the Heaven). On the top, visit South Heavenly Gate, Heavenly Street, Jade Emperor Peak, Inscription on the Cliff, Sun Rising Peak and more.
Afterwards, take cable car and private car to get down from the mountain. Stay overnight in Tai’an.
Day 5 Mount Tai Departure (B)
After breakfast, be free until be escorted to the train station.
