4 Days Jingdezhen Porcelain Tour with Mount Lushan
- Day 1 Jingdezhen Arrival

Welcome to Jingdezhen, the Porcelain Capital of China! Upon arrival, be greeted by our tour guide in the Arrival Hall who is holding a sign on which says your name. A comfortable vehicle (non-smoking) with an experienced driver will transfer you directly to your hotel. Your guide will help you check in.
After some rest, have a leisure walk in Ancient Porcelain Street. It was the busiest street in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, now renowned for its long history and beautiful traditions that come from its ancient culture.
- Day 2 Jingdezhen (B, L)

Today, you’ll have a full day exploration about porcelain. First, visit Jingdezhen Ancient Kiln and Customs Museum. The museum has collected over 5,000 items of historical relics where you could appreciate the display of ceramic of different times. You will also see the demonstration of traditional process of porcelain-making by hand while creating copies of ancient porcelain. Wander leisurely in this beautiful garden to view musical performances by ceramic instrument on water stage.
Later, go to the Jingdezhen Museum of Porcelain. It has the rarest and most beautiful ceramic artifacts, in total 18,000 pieces of porcelain made in Jingdezhen from Tang Dynasty down to the modern times telling the history of continuous porcelain production in Jingdezhen.
After lunch, continue to visit Hutian Ancient Kiln Site. It clearly reflects the important changes in the history of porcelain arts and crafts of this 1700 years and the complete process of porcelain manufacturing in ancient China.
Last, go to the big porcelain plaza, where you can enjoy the high-quality porcelain curiosity and do some artistic exchange and shopping as well.
- Day 3 Jingdezhen – Lushan (B)

Mount Lushan
After breakfast, take 2.5 hours’ transfer to Lushan Mountain. Mount Lu is known for its grandeur, steepness, and beauty, and is part of Lushan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996.
Today, start your Mount Lu tour by walking through the Flower Path which skirts the edge of the western cliffs, giving marvelous views over the Jinxiu Valley. Then, you will move to the Ruqin Lake which gets its name because its shape looks like a violin. Next, visit the Imperial Stele Pavilion, built by the Ming Emperor in the 14th century to commemorate a meeting with the immortal Taoist. Afterwards, you will continue to visit the rainbow-like Lulin Bridge and enjoy the mirror-like Lulin Hu which make there a dreamlike place.
Frolic in the Black Dragon Pool where five streams plunge over a huge stone into a pool, which is said to be inhabited by a dark dragon, although the water is limpid and clean. Continue to see Three Precious Trees, two cryptomeria trees and one ginkgo tree, which are said to have been planted by the Buddhist monk Tan Xi 1500 years ago.
At last, go to the Guling Street, a street located in the center of Lushan Mountain which is unique in the mountain. Meandering pathways, fragrant flowers, flourishing trees and a pavilion all add to lively atmosphere of this delightful place.
Stay overnight in Mount Lu.
- Day 4 Lushan Departure (B)

Morning continue your trip in Lushan. You will start your trip with visiting the Hanpo Pass. From the pass visitors can overlook the junk-dotted Poyang Lake blending with the sky and the mountains shrouding in clouds and mist.
After visiting the Hanpo Pass, you will move to the Five Old Men Peaks, 1,436 m (about 4,711 ft), which is located in the southeast of Lushan. Its five parallel peaks once formed a single apex and standing on the top you will be rewarded with a magnificent view of the distant mountains, trees, lakes, and a seemingly endless sky.
Then, visit Three Tiled Springs which the upper part is like snow falling down to the pond; the middle reach wanders and twists with splashing sprays dancing in the air; while the lower level resembles a jade dragon running in the pond. This is considered to be the best of the Lushan waterfalls.
After the tour, be escorted to Jiujiang City to catch your flight or train to your next destination.
