Day 1: Arrival in Xian

    when the plane lands steadily at Xi’an Xianyang International Airport, our super cool journey officially kicks off! Xi’an, the starting point of the Silk Road, has an incredibly profound historical heritage. It seems that every step you take might uncover a story that’s been around for thousands of years. As soon as you step out of the airport, an enthusiastic local guide will be waiting for you and take you directly to the carefully selected Muslim – friendly hotel. Along the way, listen to the guide chat about the ancient city walls and the mysterious legends hidden in the alleys.
  • Leisure:
    After arriving at the hotel and dropping off your luggage, the rest of the time is yours to have fun. If you’re a die – hard foodie, Muslim Quarter(回民街) is a must go! As soon as you enter Muslim Quarter, you’ll be greeted by the lively atmosphere, and the aroma of all kinds of delicious foods will waft right into your nose. The sizzling kebabs are tender and juicy when you take a bite; and the soft and sweet Jinggao cake will fill you with happiness with every mouthful. Here, while strolling and eating, chat with the enthusiastic vendors and experience the purest local flavor of Xi’an. If you’re tired from strolling around and want to find a quiet place to relax, just go back to the hotel. Lie down on the soft big bed, turn on your smart devices, watch TV shows, play games, or work out in the hotel gym. Do whatever makes you comfortable.

Day 2: Exploring Xian

  • Discover the Terracotta Army(兵马俑):In the early morning, after break fast we’ll head straight to the world – renowned Terracotta Army, an archaeological marvel! Once you step into the scenic area, it’s like time – traveling back to the Qin Dynasty over 2,000 years ago. Look at those rows of vivid Terracotta Warriors and Horses. The soldiers have solemn expressions, and the horses are robust, as if they’re about to charge into battle at any moment. Listen to the tour guide share the legendary stories of Emperor Qin Shi Huang and the little – known archaeological anecdotes behind these terracotta figures. It’s really exciting! Day 3: Xian to Lanzhou

  • Overnight:
    Upon arrival in Lanzhou, check into your hotel. Settle in, unwind, and get ready to explore this new city. Lanzhou has its own unique charm, with the Yellow River running through it, and staying the night here will give you a great start to your Gansu exploration.


Day 4: Lanzhou and Zhangye

  • Explore Xiguan Mosque(西关清真寺):

    Begin your day in Lanzhou by visiting the magnificent Xiguan Mosque. This isn’t just any mosque; it’s one of the oldest and most renowned in the city, constructed by Muslim merchants way back in the Ming Dynasty. Day 8: Turpan to Urumqi

  • Flaming Mountain(火焰山):
    Today in Turpan, get ready to experience the heat like never before at the Flaming Mountain! Known as one of the hottest spots on the planet, this place is an absolute stunner.
