Location and Administrative Division
Shouxian Taodian Hui Ethnic Township (寿县陶店回族乡, Shouxian Taodian Huizu Xiang) is located in the central part of Shouxian County (寿县), Huainan City (淮南市), Anhui Province (安徽省), China. It is situated on the western bank of Wabu Lake (瓦埠湖), bordered to the south by Yankou Town (堰口镇) and to the north by Yaokou Town (窑口镇). Established in December 1985, it is one of the four ethnic townships in Huainan City and one of the nine ethnic townships in Anhui Province. It is recognized as a National Ethnic Unity and Progress Demonstration Zone (单位).

The township covers a total land area of 38 square kilometers and administers four administrative villages, including three ethnic villages. The population is 14,617, with 4,522 Hui people. It consists of 114 village groups, 4,719 households, and 42,000 acres of arable land.
Transportation
- By High-Speed Rail: The construction of the Shanghe-Hangzhou Railway (商合杭铁路) is ongoing. From Shouxian, you can take the high-speed train to Hefei (合肥), which takes approximately 30 minutes.
- By Road: County Road X020 runs through the township. The Wabu Lake Bridge (瓦埠湖大桥), connecting the east and west, has been completed. Provincial Road 203 (省道203线) connects to the largest inland lake wharf in Lu’an City (六安市). The Jiqi Expressway (济祁高速) passes through, providing direct access to Hefei and linking to the Hefei-Huaihua Expressway (合淮阜高速). The newly constructed Hefei Airport (合肥机场) is 40 kilometers away, accessible via Jiqi Expressway and Anfeng Tang Expressway (安丰塘上高速) in just over 20 minutes. Shouxian is 30 kilometers from Huainan City government.
