Lhasa International Flights
The international flights in Lhasa are mainly to Katmandu. Flights from Lhasa to Kathmandu are available every day and arrive in Kathmandu in less than two hours. The main airlines to Kathmandu are Sichuan Airlines and Air China. Planes usually take off from Gonggar Airport in Lhasa around 11:00 in the morning. Because many tourists will choose to fly to Kathmandu from Lhasa, and there are few flights from Lhasa to Kathmandu, air tickets will be hard to get during holidays, especially a holiday like National Day Golden week. In the event of holidays, it is recommended to buy tickets at least one month in advance.
