Why is Shaoshan Peak So Special?

Shaofeng scenic spot, with an altitude of 520 meters, is the highest peak of Shaoshan, also known as Xianding peak. It is said that in ancient times, there were three lady, they became immortal here, hence the name Xiannv Peak.

Sunrise

As the highest peak in Shaoshan Mountain, Shaoshan Peak is the perfect place to enjoy the amazing sun rise. It is also a ideal place for taking photos. In summer morning, tourists would find a golden sun, wrapped in colorful clouds, rises at dawn.

Fairy’s Residence

There is a legend about Shaoshan Peak, long long time ago, there were three beautiful lady live in Shaoshan mountain. They are practice Taoist here. One day, a phoenix came here with a book from heaven, and the fairies became immortal and followed the phoenix went to heaven. Although the fairies were gone, their residence is still here.

The Pink Well

The Pink Well is an ancient well in Shaoshan Peak. The water of the well flows continuously, which never stop. And it is said that no matter in rainy or dry seasons, the spring water is always pink, which is very rare.
