Promenade of The Summer Palace in Beijing
The Summer Palace Promenade, located on the north bank of Kunming Lake, south of Mount Wanshou, was built during the Qianlong period in the Qing dynasty. Damaged during the invasion of Beijing by the British and French forces, it was rebuilt in 1888 and is now an appealing attraction in the Summer Palace. There are plenty of murals on both sides of the corridor, and the richness of the paintings has been recorded in the Guinness Book of Records of the World.
