Niu Jie Muslim Snack Street occupies an area of 35.9 hectares, starting from Guang’anmen Inner Street in the north and reaching Baiguanglu street in the south. Niu Jie, located in Xicheng district of Beijing, is an ethnic cultural street with a long history. The residents here are mainly Hui people, with more than 20 ethnic groups living here. The largest and oldest mosque, Niujie mosque, is located here. Everything is full of exotic flavor of ethnic minorities. So is food. The famous Turpan restaurant serves authentic Uyghur cuisine to tourists.
