Jinzhai Hui Ethnic Township (金寨回族乡, Jinzhai Huizu Xiang) is located in the central part of Xingyang City (荥阳市), Zhengzhou City (郑州市), Henan Province (河南省), China. It lies west of the Suo River (索河), with Chengguan Township (城关乡) surrounding it to the east, south, and west. It is adjacent to Gao Village Township (高村乡) to the north. The total administrative area of Jinzhai Hui Ethnic Township is 5.63 square kilometers.
As of the end of 2019, Jinzhai Hui Ethnic Township had a registered population of 7,923.
Historical Background
- May 1961: Established as Chengguan Management Area.
- February 1963: Reorganized into Chengguan Commune.
- May 1983: Became part of Chengguan Township.
- February 26, 1986: Designated as Jinzhai Hui Ethnic Township.
