Heping Grand Mosque in Lanzhou

Heping Grand Mosque兰州和平清真大寺 is located at the north end of the Xiaoxi Lake Bridge in Chengguan District, Lanzhou. It is an exemplary example of Islamic architecture, characterized by its four towering minarets surrounding a grand dome. The minarets and the large dome are covered in titanium, which gleams brightly under sunlight, creating a striking appearance. The mosque’s outer hall features 68 imposing columns, each 12 meters high and 90 centimeters in diameter, adding to its grandeur.
