Why is Guyi Garden So Special

Guyi Garden was built in Jiajing, Ming Dynasty. It has a history of about 500 years. At first, it was called Yiyuan, which was taken from Cuizhuyi, so the garden was planted with bamboo all over the country. It was expanded in the Qing Dynasty. The garden had different flowers in all seasons. It loved lotus flowers in summer and winter, and lotus leaves in summer all over the garden were different from each other. The annual Lotus exhibition attracts many photographers. Winter is a good place to appreciate plum, especially after the heavy snow, the silver wrapped in plain clothes, and the wintersweet contends for spring. There is also a patriotic education base in the garden, Lakoku Pavilion. Japan occupied the three eastern provinces in 1918. The people of Jiading built this pavilion to express their patriotic enthusiasm. There are no eaves in the northeast corner of the pavilion, only one is raised high, which symbolizes the resistance spirit of the Chinese people.
