Green Sun Ecotourism Resort in Chaozhou
Located 13 kilometers from the center of Chaozhou City, in Dengtang Town (登塘镇), the Green Sun Ecotourism Resort (绿太阳生态旅游度假区) is an ecological tourism and resort area designed according to the National 4A-Level (AAAA级) tourism standards. It opened to the public during the National Day Golden Week in 2006. As a unique example of the successful integration of European-style gardens with traditional Chinese landscapes, the resort quickly gained attention from tourists across East Guangdong (粤东).

Resort Planning
The Green Sun Ecotourism Resort, located in the southeastern coastal area of Guangdong Province (广东省), covers an area of 3,600 acres, with a water area of 480 acres. The project began construction in 2003 and has invested 110 million RMB. The first phase of the project was completed in June 2006, with trial operations starting in September 2006. The resort is an important tourism project in Guangdong Province, featuring beautiful natural scenery.

Free Admission Policy
In February 2020, to honor healthcare workers fighting against the pandemic, the resort offered free entry to medical workers nationwide from the opening of the park in 2020 until December 31, 2020.

In March 2023, the Green Sun Ecotourism Resort was recognized by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism as a National 4A-Level Tourist Attraction (国家4A级旅游景区).
