苯教

苯教的创始人叫辛统米沃，是与释迦牟尼同时代的人。他出生在古象雄的欧摩隆仁（现西藏阿里地区）。到了藏族第一代赞普——聂赤赞普时，藏族有了第一座建筑——雍布拉康，有了自己古老的宗教——“苯教”建造了第一座苯教寺院——“拥忠拉者色玛”。

苯教把宇宙分为三层境界，最高层——天，是天神居住的地方，住着天神六兄弟和他们的眷属。最大的天神是“什巴”，他是创世主。中层是人居住的地方。下层是神魔鬼怪凶煞居住的区域。如；年神、龙神、还有赞神、土地神等等。他们同人类的关系非常密切，能给人以褐福、灾祥、吉凶，人们是千万不能触犯他们的。苯教还把世界视为由许多相联系的方格组合成的，天、人、魔鬼各处于一定的方格之中，这种并列的方格观念其实就是各个原始部落的独立、平等关系的朴实反应。

呷拉贡寺

建于明初，藏有十万颂经书，供奉大小佛像数百尊，其中有九世班禅所赠檀香木释迦牟尼佛像。
