Dulin Hui Ethnic Township in Cang County, Cangzhou
Overview
Dulin Town (杜林镇) is located in Cang County (沧县), Cangzhou City (沧州市), Hebei Province (河北省). It lies in the northwest of Cang County, bordering the Cangzhou New Area (沧州新区) to the east, Dazhu Village (大褚村乡) to the south, Daguan Village (大官厅乡) to the west, and Xinxing Town (新兴镇) in Qing County (青县) to the north. The town covers a total area of 61.07 square kilometers. As of the end of 2021, the registered population of the former Dulin Hui Ethnic Township (杜林回族乡) was 46,363.
Historical Development
Dulin Hui Ethnic Township was originally part of Qingcang County (青沧交县) in 1946. In 1984, it was officially renamed Dulin Hui Ethnic Township. In 1996, Wangxiangzhuang Township (王祥庄乡) was incorporated. On January 13, 2023, a ceremony was held to transition from a township to a town.

Geography
Dulin Hui Ethnic Township is situated in the northwest of Cang County. The township government is located 13.5 kilometers from the Cang County People’s Government. The total area is 61.07 square kilometers.
Demographics
As of the end of 2011, the total population of the former Dulin Hui Ethnic Township was 44,150, with an urban population of 2,096. The population consisted of 22,689 males (50.2%) and 21,461 females (49.8%). The majority ethnic group is Han (汉族), accounting for 94% of the population, while Hui (回族) make up 6%. The population growth rate was 8.41%.
Transportation
As of 2011, Dulin was served by the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway, the Shuohuang Railway, the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway, the Langcang Expressway, and several county-level roads totaling 27.9 kilometers.
