How to get & leave there

Air

Ningbo Lishe International Airport, is located in Lishe village, Shiqi street, Yinzhou district, Ningbo city, Zhejiang province, China. It’s only 12 kilometers away from downtown. It takes you 10 to 30 minutes to get the city center of Ningbo. The airport has opened to many big cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Xiamen, Qingdao, Dalian, Ha’erbin, Kunming, Sanya, Zhengzhou, Lanzhou, etc. Out of the mainland, it is available for visitors to take plane there to HongKong, Macao, Taiwan, Seoul, Singapore, Bangkok, etc.

Airport Shuttle Bus
For the convenience of passengers, Ningbo Lishe international airport opened a direct shuttle bus to airport, from 8:30 to 19:20. It costs 12 RMB each. The bus terminal is located at the bus parking lot in the south square of Ningbo railway station, near the bus terminal and the non-motor vehicle parking area.

Railway

Xiaoyong railway and Ningbo – Taizhou – Wenzhou railway are the trunk railways in Ningbo. Beilun, Hongzhen, Yuci and Baisha line are branch lines, connecting Zhejiang – Jiangxi and Shanghai – Hangzhou line outside, Ningbo port area inside, and connecting national railway network. The main railway passenger stations in Ningbo are Ningbo Railway Station and Zhuangqiao Station. And Yuyao, Fenghua, Ninghai each has a small railway passenger station. For now, it takes you about 60 minutes to Hangzhou, 1.5 hours to Shanghai and 2.5 hours to Nanjing by high-speed train from Ningbo.

    • Ningbo Railway Station

Ningbo Railway Station is located in Haishu district, Ningbo. It is the terminal station of Xiaoyong railway and Hangzhou – Ningbo railway, and the starting station of Yongtai – Wenzhou railway. You can take train, high-speed train and bullet train to most cities in China there.

Traffic transfer:

1.Taxi

Taxi waiting area is in the arrival floor (B1) of Ningbo Railway Station. Passengers can take taxi directly there. After arriving at Ningbo Railway Station, passengers can arrive at the taxi hall directly according to the station sign.

2.Bus

Ningbo Railway Station has north and south square where you can take bus conveniently. Please see the guide signs to choose specific bus lines and transportation details. Please pay attention to the terminal bus station in case you take wrong direction.

    • Zhuangqiao Train Station

Zhuangqiao Railway Station is located on Zhuangqiao Street, Ningbo. It is smaller than Ningbo Railway Station, and you can just take high-speed train and bullet train there.

Provincial Coach

As the transport hub of Zhejiang province, there are many highways through this place. They are Ningbo Ring Expressway, Hangzhou – Ningbo Expressway, Ningbo – Taizhou – Wenzhou Highway, Jinyong Expressway, etc. As the completion of the Hangzhou Bay Bridge, the time from Ningbo to Shanghai has been shorten from 4 hours to 2 hours.

Internal transportation

Subway

Ningbo subway has 6 lines. Line 1, 2 and 3 are the main arteries of rail transit, and line 4, 5，and 6 are auxiliary lines, with a total of 116 transfer stations. Line 3， 4，and 5 will be fully operated by the year of 2020. So you can take line 1 and line 2 until the year of 2017.

Bus

Ningbo bus line is well developed. And there are also buses for scenic spots. The buses in the city are all self-service. The price is 1 or 2 for RMB each.

Taxi & Didi

Taxi is quite convenient in the city. The starting price is 11RMB for 3 kilometers, and then 2.4 RMB per kilometer. In addition to the taxi, you can also use Didi call by your phone.

Sharing bikes

It’s quite convenient for visitors to use sharing bikes nowadays because you just need to take your phone with you then you can use them.
