III. Visa Requirements

Dutch citizens typically need to apply for a visa in advance when traveling to China. Visa types include tourist visa (L), business visa (M), work visa (Z), study visa (X1/X2), family reunion visa (Q1/Q2, S1/S2), etc. Applicants must provide a valid passport (with a validity period exceeding six months beyond the planned stay), visa application form, photos, itinerary, proof of financial means, and other relevant materials.

IV. Visa Application Process

  1. Prepare Materials: Gather required documents based on visa type, including passport, application form, photos, itinerary, and financial proof.
  2. Submit Application: Submit materials to the Embassy of China in Netherlands, or via mail or third party.
  3. Wait for Review: The embassy reviews materials, usually taking about 4 working days. Express service may require additional payment.
