Changle Straits Olympic Golf Club

As one of the best golf courses in Asia, the Trans Strait Golf Club(福州市海峡奥林匹克高尔夫俱乐部) enjoy the reputation of having the most challenging golf course in Asia. Located near the Fuzhou Changle International Airport, it is only a 40-minute drive from the city proper of Fuzhou to the golf course. It covers an area of 132 hectares.

Designed by the famous golf course designer Pobert Grent Jones, Jr., the Trans Strait Golf Course is of the same kind as the Coastal Sand Dune Golf Course in South Carolina of the U.S.A and quite in the style of British royal golf course. The designer created a masterpiece by making great use of the existing mountain, water, and thick forest. With a lot of trees, the environment is natural without any man-made structures, which is quite pleasant.

The Trans Strait Golf Course covers an area of 226 hectares, with 18-hole, 72-par and a total length of 7,333 yards of fairway. Some fairways are built on the sand beaches, which can be called “superb”. The course is so difficult and challenging that even masters must stand in combat readiness.

It takes 50 minutes to drive from the downtown to the golf club, and 15 minutes’ drive from Fuzhou Changle International Airport.
