Reservation
- Once receiving your inquiry, one of China Dragon Tours’ experienced travel consultants will start to help you to create a tour plan around your specific requirements and interests within 24 hours. Your travel consultant will communicate with you 1-on-1 until you are happy with the tour plan.
- After you confirm the tour plan with us, you are requested to pay the deposit to secure your booking (30 percent of the total price), once we receive your deposit, we’ll secure your reservation and deal with your final booking immediately.
It is highly suggested you make the reservation at least 60 days prior to your tour date. Full payment is required to finish 30 days prior to your travel date.
- Once your booking is confirmed, your travel consultant will send you a Confirmation Letter to inform you of the booked flights, hotels, and itinerary in details. In case of any emergency or force majeure after the confirmation letter, China Dragon Tours reserves the right to make changes and offer you the similar alternatives best for you.

Payment
We accept three ways of payment:
- Credit Card;
- Wire Transfer (Bank Transfer);
- PayPal

Please Note:
- You can find reference exchange rate at BOC EXCHANGE RATE.
- China Dragon Tours will provide you with quote calculated in Chinese currency-CNY, as well as the equivalent quote in USD based on the current exchange rate. Please note our quote in USD may change slightly due to the fluctuation of the exchange rate, though CNY quote remains the same.
Cancellation Refunds
We would feel sorry if you decided to cancel your trip to China, however we realize that the majority do so out of necessity.
If you must cancel your trip, please submit your cancellation in written form. Cancellation refunds will be calculated as of the date we receive your written cancellation.
All payments for travel services not provided to the passenger shall be refunded in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and in accordance with China Dragon Tours’ cancellation policy:
The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:
- No less than 30 days prior to scheduled departure date: 10% of the full payment per person.
- 30 to 15 days prior to scheduled departure date: 20% of the full payment per person.
- 14 to 7 days prior to scheduled departure date: 50% of the full payment per person.
- 6 to 0 days prior to scheduled departure date: 100% of the full payment per person.
- Plus: additional cancellation fees, if applicable, imposed by the service providers other than China Dragon Tours(may include but not limit to banks or other payment platforms, airlines, cruises, hotels, railway companies, etc.) will be deducted from the money refunded.
Traveler substitutions are considered reservation cancellations and are subject to the above cancellation fees.
After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services (may include but not limit to airlines, hotels, railway companies,ship companies etc.) due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.

Alteration of Itinerary
China Dragon Tours endeavors to offer the best tour possible for our clients, hence before your reservation is confirmed, your travel consultant will adjust the itinerary free of charge until you get satisfied. However, after you get Confirmation Letter, alterations of the confirmed tour plan from your end will incur a fee of $25 per request, and changes on tour date or destination may cause cancellation fees; and the feasibility of change are subject to availability and can’t be guaranteed.
If any changes on itinerary come from your end, then you need to pay any additional cost in advance.
In case of any change on flight schedule or on-land transportation, or any other events beyond our control, China Dragon Tours reserves the right to modify your itinerary and any increase or reduction on your tour cost will be recalculated & collected/ refunded accordingly.
Responsibility
The responsibility of China Dragon Tours and its affiliated companies is strictly limited. China Dragon Tours is not responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts, or failure to act of any service suppliers of land, air, and water transportation, sightseeing, cruise/hotel accommodations, or of any third party not directly owned or operated by China Dragon Tours. By using the services provided by these suppliers, you agree that you will turn to the suppliers for any accident, injury, damage or loss on you, which China Dragon Tours won’t be held accountable for.
Without limitation, China Dragon Tours is not held accountable for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property, death, delay, or inconvenience due to the provision of, or failure to provide, any goods or services caused by or resulting from–but not limited to–force majeure, insurrection or revolt, acts of war or civil unrest, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of airplanes or other means of transportation or for the failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time, sanitation problems, lack of medical care, or for any other conditions beyond the control of China Dragon Tours.
China Dragon Tours is not liable for your failure to comply with customs regulations nor do we take responsibility for the loss of your valuable items due to your own negligence.
In case of any emergency or force majeure, China Dragon Tours reserves the right to alter hotels, flights, scenic spots or cruise ships etc., or to cancel the tour any time before your tour starts. If China Dragon Tours needs to cancel any of your confirmed tours before it starts, we will make full refund of the money received by China Dragon Tours. If your flight tickets are dealt with by the 3rd party, China Dragon Tours won’t be responsible for your airline ticket cancellation fees in this case.
Considering the fact that not all scenic spots are open every day, China Dragon Tours reserves the right to modify the sequence of attractions or even the cities to make sure you can visit all attractions listed in your itinerary. In either case, the itinerary will be maintained to the extent possible and we won’t be able to refund for any unavailable attractions.
Many tour packages provided by China Dragon Tours may involve activities needs extra attention, e.g. boarding and disembarking, climbing hills and entering and exiting tombs and caves etc. our tour guide will offer their advice and help, however, all activities are undertaken at your own risk. China Dragon Tours, its employees won’t be held accountable for any accidents after we have fulfilled our duty and taken the necessary care.
Travel Document
The clients have to hold a passport valid for at least 6 months to travel to all countries within our service scope. Clients are responsible for documentation accuracy, passport validity and dispatch of documents. Clients must offer us the exact full name on their passport; otherwise any delays, transport failure caused are not our responsibility. Also, travel insurance purchased in advance is strongly suggested for your own sake.
Luggage Allowance
As specified by the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, check-in luggage for domestic flights is 20kg (44pounds) for the economy class, 30kg (66pounds) for the business class, and 40kg (88pounds) for the first class;
Hand luggage is allowed less than 5kg (11pounds) in total and within the size of 20×40×55 each piece(standards of different airlines may different slightly).
Please Note:
You will be responsible for any excess baggage charges.
It’s requested by the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China that all suitcases can be locked, otherwise the airport may refuse to load suitcases onto the aircraft.
Medical Issues
It’s required to advise us in writing, at or before your booking, of any physical, emotional or mental issue that probably requires professional care or use of particular equipment on the trip.
Please bring your own foldable wheelchair with you, and please note that some conditions and certain kind of tour are not friendly to wheelchair. China Dragon Tours cannot guarantee any wheelchair assistance or accessibility in destinations outside of China.
China Dragon Tours reserves the right to reject any clients whose condition, in our opinion, may affect the health, safety of other participants.
We won’t be able to accommodate women who are pregnant for 6 months or longer.
Clients should consider all the risks regarding to international travel and understand the health requirements of their destination. It’s clients’ responsibility to check the safety & security conditions of your destination and the area you are going to transit through.
For tourists to Tibet, it’s required to offer a doctor’s certificate proving their normal blood pressure and heart condition are suitable for a tour to Tibet.
Clients should check and follow the health & vaccination requirements necessary to enter their destination and transit area. It’s better to consult your doctor or local department of health in advance.
Insurance
China Dragon Tours will provide tour services only you have taken out travel insurances. But the settlements we can claim in China is complicated. Therefore, for your convenience, we strongly recommend that travelers should take out comprehensive travel insurances before leaving your home country covering a wide range of inconveniences from lost & damage of baggage, to flight delays & cancellations, etc..
Force Majeure
Compensation won’t apply when the fulfillment of contract between clients and China Dragon Tours are hindered by the following events: risk or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorism, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, technical problems on transport, closure or congestion of airport or ports, cancellation or change of scheduled airlines etc. that beyond our control.
Limitation of Liability
China Dragon Tours will make all arrangements involving transportation, sightseeing and hotel accommodation etc. as a coordinator. We does not own, manage, control or operate any transportation vehicle, hotel, restaurant or any other suppliers. All receipts and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions of the suppliers, and all services are provided subject to the laws indicating us act as an agent for the owner contractors and suppliers. China Dragon Tours assumes no responsibility for the loss, damage on person or property, any injury, illness or death, delays, transport failures which directly or indirectly caused by suppliers.
Complaints and Claims
Whenever you are not satisfied with any service of China Dragon Tours, not matter before, during or after your tour, please let us know through your local tour guide or your travel consultant immediately, so that we can solve the problem in the first time and prevent it from happening again.
For any complain or compensation request, China Dragon Tours needs to be informed by email, regular mail, or fax in writing within 15 days after your tour ends. Please provide relevant receipts and evidence along with the letter of complaint. Please note that China Dragon Tours won’t be responsible for any claims made later than 15 days after your tour ends.
