Bugga Hui Township昭通市昭阳区布嘎回族乡 is situated in the southern part of Zhaoyang District (昭阳区) in Zhaotong City (昭通市), Yunnan Province (云南省). It borders Shouwang Hui (回族) Township (守望回族乡) and Zhongshui Town (中水镇) in Weining Yi, Hui, and Miao Autonomous County (威宁彝族回族自治县) of Bijie City (毕节市), Guizhou Province (贵州省) to the east. To the southwest, it connects with Taoyuan Township (桃源乡) in Ludian County (鲁甸县), and to the northwest, it is adjacent to Yongfeng Town (永丰镇). The total area of Bugga Township is 92.43 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the registered population was 35,988.

- 1988: Bugga Hui Township was established by reorganizing five village committees from the former Yongfeng District (永丰区), including Bugga (布嘎), Yingshui (迎水), Xinjie (新街), Baishi (白石), and Hualuping (花鹿坪).

The highest point is on the southeastern side of Anjiakouzi (安家口子) at an elevation of 2,500 meters, while the lowest point is at Houhaizi (后海子) at an elevation of 1,960 meters.
