144-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai
Foreign nationals who transit through Shanghai with a valid visa for a third country are eligible for a 72-hour or 144-hour visa-free transit policy. The policy allows travelers to stay in Shanghai for a short period without requiring a Chinese visa.
