A national 5A-level scenic area covering 3,600 acres, BALI River Scenic Area (八里河风景区) is composed of sections like “World Scenery,” “Splendid China,” and “Blue Wave Viewing Area.” It features miniature landscapes such as the Greek Temple of Zeus and is home to numerous rare bird species. The natural scenery blends harmoniously with cultural landscapes.
2. Yingzhou West Lake Scenic Area (颍州西湖景区)
One of China’s four great ancient West Lakes, it is often compared to Hangzhou’s West Lake (杭州西湖). Su Shi once praised it, saying “The vast world begins and ends in a speck of dust, who can distinguish the superior between Hangzhou and Yingzhou?” The area features attractions such as the Orchid Garden and Su Causeway, recreating the charm of the “Ten-Mile Lotus” during the Song Dynasty.
3. Fuyang Ecological Park
A national 4A-level tourist destination and an environmental education base for Anhui Province, Fuyang Ecological Park (阜阳生态乐园) combines agricultural sightseeing, cultural heritage, eco-tourism, and leisure activities.
