Mountains in Lhasa
Lhasa is located in the central part of the Qinghai-Tibet plateau, with an altitude of 3650 meters. It is one of the highest cities in the world. Mountains in Lhasa are tall and majestic. Tibet plateau has Kunlun Mountain Range and its branch range of Tanggula Mountains in the north, the Himalayas in the south, the Karakoram Mountains in the west and the Hengduan Mountains in the east. Within the territory, there are also Gangdise-Nyainqen tanglha Range and its branch ranges, stretching from east to west, with an average elevation of more than 4000 meters.
