Beijing Cuisine

Beijing cuisine, also known as Jing cuisine, Mandarin cuisine and Peking cuisine, and formerly as Beiping cuisine, is the local cuisine of Beijing, the national capital of China. Although Beijing cuisine is not included in the eight great cuisines of China, the reputation of Beijing cuisine has long been spread out. A general feature of Beijing cuisine is that not overly biased to one flavor and fragrant. 

Beijing is also the eighth “City of Gastronomy” in the world, ranking first in the mainland, and Beijing roast duck is famous at home and abroad. Apart from Beijing’s most famous dish, Peking roast duck, most of the city’s famous dishes are imported from surrounding areas. Food from different cultures and places comes together in Beijing, so there are a variety of dining options.
