Geography
Longsheng Various Nationalities Autonomous County(龙胜各族自治县), affiliated to Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the northeastern part of Guangxi, and is located in the southeastern corner of Hunan and Guangxi. The Longsheng Town, the county seat, is 371 kilometers away from Nanning, the capital of Guangxi, with a highway mileage of 531 kilometers. It is 63 kilometers away from Guilin with a highway mileage of 87 kilometers. The No. 321 National Highway from Guangzhou to Chengdu passes through Longsheng, and it is the throat and material distribution center of southwest Hunan, southeast Guizhou and Sichuan.

Longsheng's annual average temperature is around 19℃, which is relatively mild, with a frost-free period of more than 300 days. The hottest days are in July and August. The monthly average temperature is about 28°C. And the extreme maximum temperature does not exceed 39°C. The coldest days are in January and February. The average temperature is 8-9°C. And the average minimum temperature is not lower than 5°C, so it is not cold. Therefore, it is warm and temperate. Longsheng has a significant amount of rainfall during the year. This is true even for the driest month. Precipitation here averages 1,568 mm.
