Dongchuan Culture

Dongchuan was originally one of the birthplaces of the Yi people. Because of its remote location and lagged social and economic development, these villages still maintain traces of the Yi nationality's primitive religion and culture, but with the continuous development of rural economy and the infiltration of modern culture, this precious cultural form is on the verge of extinction. Yi culture is more concentrated such as Tuotan Village of Awang Town.
