Day 1 (D1): Arrival in Shenyang(沈阳)

About Shenyang: As the capital of Liaoning Province and an international hub in Northeast Asia, Shenyang is a historic city, a national cultural center, and a modern transport nexus. It’s recognized as an advanced manufacturing base, a modern service center, and a regional tech innovation hub.
Day 2 (D2): Shenyang(沈阳) → Panjin(盘锦)
Attractions in Shenyang:Shenyang Imperial Palace(沈阳故宫): Also called Shengjing Palace, built in the 10th year of the Tianming era (1625). It is one of the only two surviving Qing palaces and the only imperial complex outside the Great Wall.
Zhang Xueliang Former Residence Museum(张学良旧居陈列馆): Covers 53,000 m² with 35,000 m² of buildings. It’s the largest and best-preserved celebrity home in Northeast China and a national AAAA-level tourist site.
Zhongjie Pedestrian Street(中街): A historic commercial district known for its cultural heritage and recognized among the first batch of China’s top ten famous shopping streets.
Toutiao Hutong(头条胡同): Shenyang Toutiao Hutong, a 300-year-old historic alley in the heart of Zhongjie Street, shines as the “Dashimian” guochao (Chinese national trend) block—a vibrant mix of Ming-Qing gray-brick architecture and modern neon. It revives Shengjing’s commercial past with intangible cultural heritage displays like sugar figurines and paper-cutting, alongside both century-old snacks (e.g., Laobian Dumplings) and trendy eats. At night, neon-lit streets and folk performances create an immersive vibe, linking to Shenyang Imperial Palace and Zhongjie Pedestrian Street. A 5-minute walk from Metro Line 1 Zhongjie Station, it’s a must-visit for tasting history and modern energy in one stroll.
September 18th History Museum: The only museum fully documenting the Mukden Incident of September 18, located at 46 South Wanghua Street, Dadong District, Shenyang. Opened September 18, 1999, with its name inscribed by Jiang Zemin.

This wetland covers over 200,000 acres, famous for its red seepweed, reed marshes, and countless waterbirds along an 18 km corridor. Highlights include ten scenic spots like Yi Shui Yun Zhou, Wolong Lake Pier, Island Leisure, and Lover’s Island.

Day 4 (D4): Changchun(长春) → Changbai Mountain(长白山)

This national first-grade museum covers 250,500 m² and showcases the last Qing emperor’s court and Japanese colonial rule.The Puppet Manchuria Imperial Palace is a product of Japan’s aggression against China. With its multiple connotations and unique values, it truly reflects the dying struggle of the last emperor of China’s feudal society. It also bears witness to the bloodshed and brutality of Japan’s aggression in Northeast China and its implementation of colonial rule. It is one of the typical warning memorial sites of modern Chinese colonial culture.

Day 5 (D5): Changbai Mountain → Changchun
- Morning: Explore the North Slope scenic area: the Tianchi (Heaven Lake) at the border between China and North Korea, stunning waterfalls by the mountain’s crater rim, the JuLong Hot Spring group, and the famous Small Heaven Lake (Duibei Lake).Changbai Mountain Tianchi(天池), also known as Baekdu Mountain Tianchi, is located within the Changbai Mountain Nature Reserve in the southeastern part of Jilin Province. It is a boundary lake between China and North Korea, with each side having a part of the water area. According to the “Records of Changbai Mountain Jianggang”, “Tianchi is at the central point of the summit of Changbai Mountain, surrounded by peaks, about 20 li above the ground, so it is named Tianchi.”
